Asked for Male, 75 Years

My father is facing sudden numbness exactly half of the body for few seconds. Used to occur once in a month. Observed 3 times so far. Kindly advise me the remedy and if need to consult doctor, please let me know whether I need to contact neurologist/general/cardiologist
