Sudden heart failure
My father aged around 68 suddenly got heart failure with pulmonary flash edema  2 months back doctors telling it can be due to long term diabetes ,yesterday we took his CT calcium so it shows as 2400 .now what should be don't next .he is into blood thinners and diabetic medicines ..

He needs a coronary angiography to assess blockages and blood supply to the heart. And ECHO test to assess the heart function.

hlo. Since he has long standing diabetes and heart failure you would have directly gone for coronary angiogram provided his renal function test is normal.
