STRONG ACIDITY
It might seem I am shamelessly saying this, I am very used to eating unhealthy/street food. But I can't control myself. ( I am ongoing a psych eval to confirm my ADHD, this might be one of the symptom - UNRELATED ) and I consume oily food on a daily  basis. My diet is irregular, sleeping cycle is ruined but I am fixing all that currently and I will try my best to eat healthy but the real issue here is different. So I noticed whenever I eat something from outside or something spicy maybe oily ( still don't know what triggers it ), I have acidity. Before it was bearable and I used to ignore it, when I demanded for some relief I used ENO for  it, but even after that it won't go. Now some food triggers it ( usually daily ), the burning sensation in my throat is unbearable, 7/10 on a scale. I respect a doctor's opinion on this and would love to get possible issues and next step recommendations. Also I am happy to receive more than 1 reply, it will help me decide better and take necessary a

You have observed that street food is triggering your acidity .As you have mentioned, you may not be able to curb the desire to have street food.  A strong determination to reduce or stop the junk food  is required. It may be difficult initially , eventually you will succeed.Long term street food intake may have caused chronic Gastritis or h pylori infection. You need to do a h pylori antibody test preferably stool test or breathing test.Do consult with a gastroenterologist as well .
