Stool softener. I should use anobliss?

I got diagnosed with anal fissure with a sentinel tag after delivery, 8 months ago.It has been cured now by taking isabgol,visab etc. and applying ano bliss. I was thinking to get laser treatment done for the same but my doctor told me that even after laser surgery if I get hard stool it will recurr. I have been taking stool softener- visab which has kept me away from fissure since a month. I stopped stool softener in between and was on normal isabgol but the problem was recurring after every 25 days. I have been taking 4 litres of water since last 5 months, salad and other light diet.But still after some days that hard stool used to come and I had to suffer for next 4-5 days.I am using ano bliss since last 4 months twice a day to prevent it.My doctor said even if I go for surgery I have to take stool softener life long.I want to ask is it safe to take stool softener daily? Which one is best to take to avoid hard stool and till when I should use anobliss? Advertising doctors stay away.
