Stool not pass yet
Due to overbleeding a woman took four unit of blood and gynae doctor has done the operation of incomplete abortion. Now she is discharged yesterday but with severe headache and fever. Urine is ok. But unable to passed out her stool.Plz suggest.

just check the total count which is the indicator of infection because she had an incomplete abortion so if it is high she has to continue on intravenous oral antibiotics depending upon the count Very important Constipation you can have medicines

In a case of incomplete abortion, patient doesn't bleed that much as to require blood transfusions. There might be another cause. If persistent fever is there, pls go n see ur gynaec again.
