Stomach pain and gas 3 month baby
Hi my baby is around 3.5 months and Haas frequent stomach and passes painful gasses. He is 4.5 kilos, and only drinks 30-40 and very rarely 60 ml milk. He is bottle fed Aptamil gold formula. What needs to be done about the pain?

What was his birth weight? Was he born as per date?

Colic, is common at this age. Usually subsides as baby grows

Burp well and keep upright after feeds. Give milk with spoon from a cup / bowl. Can give Carmicide drops if excessive crying

There is a possibility that your baby is lactose intolerant. As he is suffering from flatulence .. You can switch to lactose free formula milk like Isomil and monitor his symptoms thereafter.. His growth rate is inadequate too..
