Stomach pain and diarrhea
Ate normal hostel food (lots of rice with fish curry) later at night ate sancks (kurkure with mama), everything was fine but around 8 i woke up to my Stomach hurting and a lot of sound and after sometime i started having diarrhea. Since then i ate normal bread with jam and ate 1 tab of Quiniodochlor at 9:30 and have been still getting diarrhea a lot everything very liquid. I am also drinking water with salt and sugar mixture, and whenever i drink small sips of it the stool comes again. Stomach still hurts a lot (a bit more above my navel in the center)and have been getting diarrhea a lot. Note: I am a student in meghalaya.

Please don't be alarmed by the sudden severity of these symptoms. Based on your timeline, you are experiencing Acute Infectious Gastroenteritis (Food Poisoning), most likely triggered by a contaminant in the hostel fish curry. The loud gurgling sounds you hear are called borborygmi, which happen because your intestines are working in overdrive, rapidly churning gas and liquid to flush the irritant out of your system. The reason why taking a sip of water instantly makes you want to run to the restroom is due to an exaggerated Gastrocolic Reflex. This is a normal reflex where stretching the stomach with food or liquid signals the lower colon to contract and empty. Because your gut lining is currently raw and highly inflamed, this reflex is hyper-reactive right now. It does not mean the water is passing straight through you instantly, and you must absolutely not stop drinking fluids out of fear."

Hey lady! These are the classic symptoms of food poisoning. For that just have adequate amount of hydration as and when possible. You don’t have to worry much if you are not getting fever. Such food poisoning resolves on its own within 3-5 days. You can still have tab enuff which is anti motility drug and will stop diarrhoea.
Next Steps
Have adequate hydration and maintain electrolyte balance by drinking ors.
Health Tips
Consult to doctor if weakness is severe and you start getting fever.
