Dear Patient, Your discomfort near the navel for the last 2 days is most likely due to mild digestive issues or gas accumulation, especially as it is intermittent and not severe. Since it is not continuous pain and you have tried gas tablets, this is usually benign. What you should do - Avoid heavy, spicy, or gas-producing foods for a few days - Drink plenty of water and maintain a light diet (rice, dal, vegetables) - Gentle walking can help relieve gas and improve digestion - Avoid lying down immediately after meals Medicines - Continue mild antacids or simethicone (gas tablets) if needed - Only take stronger medications if prescribed by a doctor Consult me if - Pain becomes severe or persistent - Fever, vomiting, or blood in stool - Swelling, hard abdomen, or inability to pass stool or gas For further guidance and personalized treatment you may consult me on Practo anytime.
