Stole problem 6mnth child

Asked for Female, 1 Years

My newly born baby girl of 6 month is not doing potty every day. Mostly she took 2 to 5 days to do potty. As a parent we are worried about it !!! After consulting with they gave ointmnet like jelly to put near to area of potty. It works in our tens situations but we are not sure how it will get cured. Is it stomach issue . Please help and guide us !!!

Not clear,you said newborn and also 6 months,which is it? Passing stools everyday is not important,but having soft stools IS,even if passed after 2-5 days.
