your baby has congenital dacrocystitis which is basically blockage of tear duct. its resoves with time on its own in some cases. u may use toba eye drops 2-3 times to reduce sticky discharge from eye. Massage on inner side of eye over tear duct (nasal side). its better to consult an ophthalmologist who can demonstrate the massage technique to you practically.

your baby has congenital obstruction of tear drainage duct called as nasolacrimal duct. it can sometimes get resolve spontaneously you have to do a 'proper massage' to nasal area of eye. consult an ophthalmologist for proper technique. If it doesn't resolve with massage a small procedure called probing can be done after 6 months of age
