I went to the emergency room for what I and the doctors believe is a bacterial infection. They gave me emergency STD treatment which I consented to, just in case. And that same night , the odor that I had was completely gone but I hadn't even taken not ONE pill of the flagyl that they gave me for the BV . Nor had they called me back the next couple of days stating I had a positive std result which they says means I don't . What could be going on ?

Hi,I believe you had treatment for Bacterial vaginosis.
You should be taking the entire course of Tab flagyl n the rest of medications ,as even if u take one or two doses your symptoms may subside but the infection remains in situ and may tend to persist longer in fact present at a later date with more symptoms ...so always take the entire course .
