Intratympanic steroids can be given for this condition and there should be a good improvement in the Hearing . Of late platelet rich plasma injections into the middle ear is also showing good results. Oral steroids has its side effects. But earlier the treatment starts the better the results.

Oral Steroids are standard line of management and intratympanic steroid and iGF injection can be tried but results are never consistent , hearing aids are the last option
