Squint is usually not heriditary but whe it is heriditary/sex linked then consagnuous marriges should be avoided and in early age of child detailed and regular check up should be followed .if there is associated nystagmus is there then,though there is no treatment for it but by certain modern modslities it's effect can be minimised.
