Spotting in 9 month pregnancy

Asked for Female, 27 Years

I had light spotting on 39weeks+1days..had light lower abdomen pain..consulted doctor..they said cervix not dilated even to 1 cm n i was sent home.. can i get dilation naturally?? Is normal delivery possible as everything is normal for me?
