Spotting before period

Asked for Female, 26 Years

Hlo mam / sir M 26 year.. unmarried women...I have been experiencing some bleeding before period for 3 years.it is not continue but after 3 to 4 months it happens....and sometimes it painful too...is it normal or I should consult a doctor or need any type of test
