Speculum safety in pregnancy
28 weeks 5 days pregnancy. Was having yellowing vaginal discharge & burning and pain in and around vagina.
Dr. Is suggesting speculum test to take vaginal swab to rule out infection.
Is speculum insertion at early third trimester safe?

It is a very safe examination. Any vaginal infection at the time of pregnancy might creat problem .
