Sore tongue can be due to vitamin deficiency or anaemia so take a multivitamin and get complete blood count done.

That is very difficult to say without a thorough examination. What you need to do is go to a dentist preferably an oral pathologist or oral medicine specialist to diagnose the lesions on your tongue, then it can be considered if they are related to the medicine. Carry your full medical file, what was the cause you checked your thyroid hormones originally, and all subsequent details. Aphtous ulcers are rarely association with some thyroid gland problems. But then aphtous ulcers do not last more than a week.
