A sore throat after oral sex does not automatically mean a serious sexually transmitted infection. In many cases, throat irritation can happen due to viral infections, seasonal allergies, cold beverages, acid reflux, dehydration, mouth breathing, or simple throat inflammation unrelated to sexual activity.
