Sore neck, pain in back of head
I suffer from sore neck whenever I am sitting for a long time. As a softwear professional the bad posture due to wfh and added work hours is escalating the pain and discomfort. The soreness in the neck comes within 2-3 hours of me sitting down to work. The soreness escalates to tugging and tingling in the back of my head as the time increases, stress and tension elevates it. Usually it Relieves after I lie down after I stop working after 8-9 hours. But sometimes the pain goes upward and the one side of my head start paining, and sometimes with a slight vomiting urg. I do not understand what this is and am really scared. Is this a neck issue or something else ???

Care AI Shimmer
Yes. It looks that the prolonged posture is the root cause of your problems. It may be coupled by neck muscle spasms with a possibility of underlying spondylitis. Staring at the computer screen for prolonged period may also contribute to your symptoms. You are 26 years of age, I am not anticipating any serious issues underlying.
Next Steps
Take a 5 min break and focus your eyes on distant objects for every hour of work. Eye movement and focus exercises will help. Take Tab Dolo 650 mg SOS for pain, when it's troublesome.
Health Tips
Observe your symptoms. If they get particularly distressing you may need blood tests and imaging. Take a neurosurgery consult in that scenario.
