Son has non subsidizing fever
Hello, My son (7 Yrs and 19.2kg weight) having viral fever, doctor suggested to use Calpol 250 mg, 6 ml 4times a day. But it seems that fever is not subsidizing much after 3-4hrs. It has been 44hrs. Doctor also suggested Meftal -p syrup if calpol does not work. Should I try this meftal, what should be doses for taking it. Any quick help will better my comfort. Thanks

Nowadays the fever which is mostly offering is a viral fever and the symptoms are very high grade fever which is recurring quite frequently so after calpol you can use meftal and after that also if fever is there you should do tepid sponging with lukewarm water and in 3-4 days still if fever persist you should go for some investigations
