I have had an little lump on my areola beside my nipple and it has been there for quite awhile, mid 2016 and I just checked an hour ago that the little lump has become swollen, red and left some excess skin inside my bra. It doesn't hurt when I touch it but when I squeeze it slightly it hurts however, before hand it would only hurt if I squeezed it roughly. I have been wearing tight bras recently too and I noticed it has irritating my breasts and the little lump. This isn't a lump inside the areola but it's sticking out, it used to be on the inside like an average bump women would have but as time went on, this thing just came out. Right now it is bright red and exposed whilst before it was the same skin colour as the areola.

Hello there.
I can understand your concern.
Without seeing we cannot say or suggest anything.
So better would be to get it checked out by a general physician or a gynaecologist in person for further evaluation and management.
Best regards.
