Social smile and eye contact
Dear doctor, My daughter is 2 months old. She makes very little eye contact on her own with me but when I try to make eye contact with her,she does make eye contact. She is making different sounds and when I respond to her,she gives a little smile at times. Is this her social smile? I am getting very worried thinking if my daughter is fine or not.

Hi! Usually social smile comes at 2 months but good eye contact sometimes takes 3 months time to appear. So this most probably her social smile If she has had an healthy birth weight without any issues during birth, then no need to worry now. Your Paediatrician should check her developmetal progress during Vaccination visit
