Frequent early-morning sneezing without fever or cold is commonly seen in allergic rhinitis (nasal allergy). Dust, pollen, bedding, stuffed toys, and weather changes are common triggers. Montair-LC may help if prescribed by your pediatrician after evaluation. The leg pain below the knee is usually unrelated to the sneezing. If the pain is intermittent, occurs mainly in the evening/night, and the child is otherwise active, it may be a benign growing pain. However, if there is swelling, redness, limping, persistent pain, fever, or pain waking her from sleep regularly, she should be examined by a pediatrician. Avoid self-medicating for prolonged periods. A clinical examination will help confirm whether this is allergy and whether treatment is required.
