Smoking risk
I want to know that the people in the mountains smoke but they never get cancer? Mountain people like the Sherpa people. I understand that the air is 100 times cleaner in mountains then the cities but all articles I have read suggest that once you smoke, the risk for getting cancer increases. But there are less frequent cases of mountain people getting cancer and also they live upto a long life. What is the explanation behind this?

No such correlation that mountain people doesn’t get cancer or less risk of cancer due to smoking. Smoking doesn’t differentiate between plains and mountains. On plains there are additional carcinogenic exposures as well. Another possible reason is mountain population are less screened due to unavailable services
