Small opening in past incision
About two years ago I had a cyst removed from my tailbone. The initial surgeon performed malpractice and left a gauze enclosed in this stitched area. Later a would care clinic discovered it after my wound had not healed for FIVE MONTHS and the area was deeply infected. I then had to get all of the infected tissue removed and the wound took six months to heal from the inside out. Now, about seven months later, there is a small opening with discharge in the same area. Should I be concerned?
