My 66 yr mother has small cell carcinoma (limited stage) She got one cycle of chemo and then was admitted for low WBC count for 3 days.. then discharged..
Today Doctor denied Radiation for my mother saying that she is old and won't tolerate Radiation well.. Instead they gave 6 cycles of chemotherapy for mom..
Can Chemotherapy alone cure my mother's small cell carcinoma?
