Slight breathing problem
I have been experiencing pain in chest, breast, part between the breast- a spiking pain and since yesterday i am feeling that there is no air circulation and sometimes i have to breathe through mounth. the pain goes all the way to neck sometimes jaws, and back as well. When i do a little bit of exercise or drink water or press the area where i feel pain, i get burps. I am fine next day I had got my echo ecg done and doctor said everything is fine. results were normal. but with occasional such pains i am scared. My father, aged 62, recently passed away because of cardiac arrest and there is a history of heart problems in my family. Please advise whether i should be scared and conscious or be relaxed as i have got my tests done just a couple of months back only

By the description and the investigations, you don’t have any heart problems. With belching, you have some acidity and drugs to suppress may help. Also check vitamin D, thyroid tests and if they are abnormal, see a appropriate doctor. Otherwise, take simple pain killers and lead a normal life with life style modifications.
