Sleeping Problem
I have a 5 months baby. I did bath 2 times morning and night 7.30 PM. Baby sleep at 8.15 PM. But he wakes 10.30,12,2,4 like that. That means every 2 hours he wakes.or sometimes he wakes every 1 hour. I did my room also dark. But why this night time is not yet scheduled? Please suggest any ideas for this night time sleep schedule.

5 months old baby might wake at night for many reasons 1. For feeding, will wake up every few hours. 2. They do not know how to link their sleep cycle yet. They will need some support such as rocking, patting, feeding for sleep, so they will wake up every few hours. 3. Sleep regressions, growth spurts might affect baby's sleep (If this is only happening since last few days) 4. Baby might be overstimulated throughout the day resulting in poor sleep. Do age appropriate wake windows and nap throughout the day. Take baby to a calm, dim light room at least an hour before sleep. Limit stimulation, excessive playing during this time. Stick to a sleep schedule.

Try to engage baby during day time. If breastfeeding make sure each feeding session must not be less than 30 minutes
