Hello Doctor, m 15 weeks 4 days pregnant. When ever I'm lying on bed i lay on sides for sometime and immediately I turn to other side directly(without waking up). Will it harm baby? Because I heard few saying that when we lay on one side and wanted to turn other side we should come to sitting position and then turn other side. Is it true?

there is no advice as like you have to wake up and then turn over the other side it is not as such and it doesn't cause any harm to the baby you should ideally turn towards the left side and sleep or at least if you sleeping in straight position you should have a tilt towards the left and that's it

Hi ..
Sleeping on sides is always better for the baby's oxygenation and as well as for you .
Changing sides without getting up will not harm baby or you .and also it's better that way that you don't sit up before Changing position.
Regards
Hi. There is no such connection . In preg lying and sleeping on sides is advised so that growing uterus does not press on the blood vessels of the body .you can turn from one side to other without sitting up .
