Skyla iud and unprotected sex
I just got the skyla iud place 7 days ago but I had sex on the 7th day and it was unprotected is there a possibility I could get pregnant? Or is the iud effective??

Usually IUD can protect against pregnancy from first day of insertion, but it may fail. So keep a watch on the menses and wait for the next menses. if it occurs on time, you are OK.
IUD can prevent pregnancy but it doesnot protect against infections. The ONLY way one can protect oneself against infections is by either having NO sex or using a condom.
