greetings. This mild, isolated elevation indicates a low-grade inflammatory process rather than a severe, acute bacterial infection. Potential causes include a recovering or low-grade viral infection, early or atypical inflammatory bowel conditions, or localized subclinical tissue inflammation. To narrow this down, three distinct possibilities to consider are a lingering viral gastroenteritis, an early systemic inflammatory condition, or a low-grade food-related sensitivity or intolerance. Appropriate options for investigation or management involve serial clinical monitoring by his pediatrician, keeping a detailed pediatric food and symptom log, or pursuing targeted secondary evaluations such as a fecal calprotectin test or repeat inflammatory tracking

Whats the duration of pain abdomen? Any associated complains like fever, vomiting, jaundice? Any history of constipation? What was the reason for such an extensive workup if there was no complain other than pain abdomen.Mild crp elevation can be some viral illnes or early bacterial infection or some inflammatory process.
Next Steps
Better to get re-examined by paediatrician.Trial of antibiotic can be given depending on history and examintion.Rest can be planned accordingly
