The size of all our front teeth are in proportion and that gives a proper smile. When crowns are given this proportion has to me maintained.
Zirconia gives the most natural appearance and it is possible to match to surrounding teeth perfectly.
Next Steps

The size of any Crown, whether it is porcelain or zirconia, depends upon the space between the adjacent teeth and the clearance between the upper and lower teeth. If there is a size discrepancy, you should discuss this query with your dentist for appropriate corrective measures. Normally we place the Crown without Cementation and show it to the patient and then we cement the Crown permanently only after the patient is satisfied. If the designing of the crown is not proper even the Zirconia Crown can look big. And it is also possible that the crown is normal in size but because the patient is used to a smaller tooth dimension for a few days the Crown appears larger. If you would have posted a clinical picture it would have been better for us to provide a more rational opinion.
Please feel free to talk to your dentist regarding this query.
