Sit in sofa in short cervex pregnancy
My wife is 13week pregnant and she has 2.4mm cervex. Doctor has advised her to take complete bed rest and not sit on the floor or do any work. Is it ok if she sit in plastic chair or sofa sometimes a day?

The point is that she should not be in such a position that the uterus (by its weight) gets pushed downwards. That will happen when you are standing or sitting in crouching position (like they sit while using Indian type toilet seat). All other positions are fine.
