My mom aged 49 feels like her heart is beating little fast. In pulse oximeter, her pulserate is always around 100.
Took Ecg today, its says 'Sinus tachycardia' and 'borderline repolarization abnormality'.
Doctor prescribed livikind tablet.
We are scared and want to know how bad it is?

For sinus tachycardia, treatment and of the cause like fever, anxiety, thyroid issues is required. Need to evaluate. But it is not a condition to worry. Heart rate usually increase with work or exertion.

ECG is normal. Heart rate can be high due to many reasons . It is nothing very serious . Dnt worry much . Just consult a cardiologist to clarify as lot of details have to be discussed.
