Silent 12mm Gallbladder Stone
Accidently discovered about 8/9 months back. Till today have never felt and discomfort or pain. I dont want to go for surgery if there is no pain. Does anyone have experience like this with any of their patients? Thanking you in advance.

Gall bladder stones are very common. They are usually silent for a long time amd then they start giving problems but the complications related to stones can vary from mild to very severe variety like jaundice, cholangitis and rarely pancreatitis. Also these stones will never get dissolved with any medicines. So it is always a good idea to go ahead with surgery now bcoz in case if ypu develop amy of these complications then the surgery is bit difficult as compared to now also the morbidity is more and accordingly the recovery period is delayed.
