Shortness of breath
I had prob with shortness of breath...after several consultation dr sujjest me fr psychiatry..I consult psychiatry..she gave me daxid 50 fr 2 tym and petril beta 2/3 tym as per my choice ...after dat I have relief in breathing and anexiety ..but whenever I fall asleep sudden I snore fast fr breathing..like I stop breathing den gasping for breath..it happens 5 to 6 tym in 8 hours sleep...is it sumthing probamatic??

Hi. I understand your concern s. Please discuss the same with your treating psychiatrist as it is due to supression of breathing centre probably due to medications.

Hi.. I understand your problems. From your history, I can make out that you snore at night and wake up gasping. May I know your age and weight? Do you have excessive daytime sleepiness? The medications you are taking can cause such problems, however you need to be evaluated. Consult a Pulmonologist for evaluation with Sleep study.

It can be because of anxiety also,or it can be related to sleep apnea also.
Need to have more information to make a diagnosis.
