I am feeling suffocated sometimes. Needing to heavily inhale. Did doctor checkup and no asthma problem. I'm 5'0" and 56kgs. I'm 6 weeks pregnant now. Breathing problem was there before pregnancy also, like once in a while.

You can do a spirometry test after your pregnancy to confirm asthma. Breathing heavily could be due to anxiety, anemia, nose block, cardiac problem etc.
