Sgot and sgpt very high while on tb drug
Hello doctors! My mom is on tb in lung treatment for 1month taking bmc tb medicine 4tablets a day however after 1month we did lft and cbc test and found sgot 217 and sgpt 163 and wbc 24460 She feels weakness most of the time and sometimes vomit also Is it cause of over dosage of tb or is it common Thanks

Sgot and sgpt values that u have suggested here with vomitings indicate drug induced hepatitis, in such scenarios we need to identify the anti tb drug causing the same and the ATT needs to be modified accordingly.
