If its first pregnancy, observe restraint during the first trimester. Cut down the intercourse frequency, Avoid deep thrusting, vigorous movements and putting weight on her. All this, only if your wife agrees to.
Avoid sex after 6th or 7th month.

If she ever had abortions earlier, or if spotting/bleeding has occured, then avoid sex during the entire term of pregnancy.
