does he have pain in both the legs? where exactly? foot or ankle? does he have other illnesses such as diabetes, blood pressure, kidney issues and cholesterol issues? does he get sudden episodes of pain ? the reason i am asking this is, he might have high uric acid but the pain may not be or may be due to gout. it first needs confirmation by rheumatologist . its can only be treated effectively if diagnosis is confirmed
Next Steps
if a certain diagnsis of gout tis made the he should first be treated for pain, the medicines given to him will depend upon and his baseline blood investigations. it can be completely controlled if adhered to diet and medicines. his present condition
