Severe pain after temporary crown
I have lower jaw pain under ear and neck since may. Dentist suspect a tooth fracture on #46. But he is not sure.Want me to try extraction and implant. He also said it could be tmjd issue. But want me to try extraction too.I went to Endo and he couldn't see any fracture in root. He see some fracture lines in the cusp area,my tooth was sensitive to bite on one spot on that tooth and cold.He told me to do RCT. Did rct 8weeks back.Still same symptoms. Went back to dentist last week to do core buildup and temporary crown. He still suspect I have tooth root fracture and that is the reason for my constant burning pain in jaw under ear and neck.I did temp crown 7 days back. I have severe sore pain and sharp pinch like pain in that tooth and gum. I am not chewing on that side at all. It's very sore pain.i have this sore pain constantly on gum and tooth Along with burning pain in lower jaw and neck. is this normal to have pain for so long?Does it indicate fracture? extraction or perm crown?

Care AI Shimmer
Do one thing mam...remove your temporary crown and keep your tooth as it is or relieve it for sometime... Take Cap.AtoZ multivitamins once in a day for 30days , take painkiller tab. Keterol-dt twice for two times a day... Also you should do lukewarm saltwater gargling... Do not eat any food for that side till you feel relieved from pain...
Next Steps
Please do CBCT for the tooth and other neighbouring areas of the jaws and also that root canal tooth is necessary to determine the main cause of your problem... Thank you..
