Severe abdominal pain
Since the last 3 days, I have been facing severe abdominal pain. I feel as though my stomach is on fire. Have been taking Gelusil MPS liquid as advised by my family doctor. Since there was no relief, today my doctor advised me to take Pan -D capsule in the morning on empty stomach, and asked me to continue with Gelusil liquid 3-4 times a day. Again my pain was not relieved. I was advised to take an ECG. My ECG was also normal. This afternoon I was advised to take Cyclopam-MF after lunch. Still my pain has not reduced. Please advise.

I would advise you to visit the ER so that you can be evaluated and given IV medications which would be more effective. These following steps will help: - Don't skip meals, you may not feel like eating but in such conditions you should have the reduced amount in frequent intervals(i.e. 3 square meals broken down to 5 or 6 as you can tolerate) and slowly increase as you get better. - Reduce/ Avoid spicy, fried, fatty, junk and oily food - Avoid/ Limit drinking coffee, tea and carbonated drinks to once a day - Exercise regularly (minimum 30 mins) - Increase daily intake of water to 3 liters - Avoid/Stop smoking and drinking if you have the habit - Reduce stress through methods such as yoga/meditation.
