Senstivty in tooth
Did porcelain crown help to reduce sensitivity of live tooth?I had a cavity which is now being filled with laser filling but due to loss of excess enamel(as cavity was little deeper)my tooth now become very sensitive is porcelain crown will help to reduce sensitivity?

Hello It mainly depends on the depth of cavity that whether you should go for crown or no. Actual protocol should be to do RCT and then give crown either porcelain or PFM. Giving crown on a tooth with just laser filling is not advisable. May be your cavity is approaching the pulp. Better diagnosis can be made after doing X-ray.
