Tooth sensitivity is the most common problem these days. This arises due to wearing off the enamel which acts as a natural protective layer on tooth.
This enamel can wear off due to multiple reasons i.e forcibly brushing, using coarse toothpaste, hyper acidity in stomach with refulx etc.
Next Steps
for time being use a sensitive toothpaste available in market and best is to visit a dental physician
Health Tips

Sensitivity is an unpleasant sensation caused by a lot of factors. But most commonly its due to wearing off of the top layer of the tooth which is the enamel and exposing the 2nd layer called the dentine. Such sensitivities are usually generalized in nature caused when when you have something cold and are managed by desensitizing lotions and toothpastes. If the sensitivity is due to hot and cold then the reason can be something more severe such as a decayed tooth more commonly known as a cavity. If it is due to a cavity, the sensitivity is usually localized to 1 or 2 teeth and its best to get it treated soon before it gets worse because cavities tend to become severe over time.
Next Steps
Get an xray (IOPA) for the area to rule out if the sensitivity is because of wear or due to a cavity
For sensitivity you can go for any medicated toothpastes.
