Tirzepatide is better for weight loss comparatively but it’s not sustainable in long run
Till u use medicine it will help
So after you stop it again weight gain is Possible ans while on this treatment you need to do muscle training and high protein intake

Tirzepatide is better drug than semaglutide .
In terms of efficacy and effects on weight reduction..
though the mechanism of action is similar . Tirzepatide hold upper hand as its dual agonist of GLP-1 and GIP ..
it can reduce weight upto 22-25% and also helps in lowering HBA1c by 2.5% .
Gastrointestinal side effects are reported but at higher doses the side effects can be little more ..
Both are available in market as wt loss therapy by different names .

Hi , both semaglutide (available as oral Rybelsus in India) and tirzepatide are used for weight management, but there are some important differences. Rybelsus is approved for type 2 diabetes and may help with weight loss, but it’s not officially approved for weight reduction alone. Earlier, before tirzepatide was available, we sometimes used it off-label for weight loss. Tirzepatide, on the other hand, is a once-weekly injectable that combines GLP-1 and GIP receptor agonists and is specifically approved for chronic weight management, even in people without diabetes.
In terms of effectiveness, tirzepatide tends to give more sustained and significant weight loss—up to 20% with the maximum 15 mg dose. However, it is slightly more expensive than oral semaglutide. Both drugs can cause similar gastrointestinal side effects like nausea, constipation, and vomiting, though these are generally more frequent with tirzepatide. Neither should be used in people with a history of pancreatitis or medullary thyroid cancer.

Tirzapetide has slightly better data. Injectable semaglutide is still not available in India. If its available it is the imported ones they will be more costly. Oral semaglutide is available. Tirzapetide or Mounjaro has been launched. You can go ahead with any of the above. Adverse events profile would almost similar.
