I have been having scanty periods for a while now, First day - 1 or 2 pads are soaked Second day- 1 pad is soaked Third day- 1 pad or panty liner works Fourth day- no pad needed just a spot Fifth day- no blood I have been diagnosed with hypothyroid with tsh 8.9. A gynac suggested me thyronorm 25 mcg. I have been taking it since 25 days. This time i got my period (after taking medicine for 25 days) it's still scanty. What could be the reason My prolactin is also normal

Usually menstrual irregularities are common with hypothyroidism. It's just been one month since you started thyronorm,it takes time to become euthyroid. Continue thyroid medication regularly and practice life style modification. Nothing to worry as of now. Consult a gynaecologist for detailed evaluation
