I had scanty periods (lasted almost 5-6days) twice last month. On 31st Jan and then again on 15th Feb.
I was sexually active before 31st January only.
Preganews results were negative when I checked 3 times (11th Feb, 15th Feb and ond 25th Feb).
Can I rule out pregnancy in that case? What might be the cause?

If you haven't been sexually active since 31 January and you had your periods on 31 January and 15 February then you can't be pregnant.
You should wait till 15 March and see for the duration and amount of blood loss during your periods. If it is still scanty and prolonged then you should consult with a Gynaecologist for further investigations and management.
