In most of the cases it is normal. Sometimes it may be due to hemangioma. If it's hemangioma we have to evaluate further. Good thing is it's not dangerous.
Next Steps
kindly consult your pediatrician once.

1. Gentle Skincare:
• Use a mild, fragrance-free shampoo like Cetaphil Baby, Sebamed, or Aveeno Baby Wash.
• Avoid oiling or using perfumed products on that area.
2. Soothing Cream:
• You can apply a calming barrier cream such as:
• Cetraben cream
• Desitin (zinc oxide) if skin looks irritated
• Aloe vera gel (pure, no added fragrance)
3. Switch Pillow Cover:
• Use 100% cotton, washed with non-fragrant detergent.
• Consider using soft, white muslin cloth on pillow to avoid friction.
4. Monitor:
• Check if it’s worsening, spreading, or getting itchy.consult to a pediatric dermatologist
Redness on pressure point and friction points is common on sensitive skin especially if fair skin colour. If it does lead to rash or small boils or pustules it’s fine. It will decrease with age
Next Steps
Keep the skin moisturised with hypoallergenic creams. Scalp you can use coconut oil / olive oil
