My baby has runny nose when she cries is this the sign of cold please tell me.my baby is 16month old

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.

Is it only when she cries or at other times too?
Because if it’s at other times then it maybe due to allergic rhinitis. She will require anti allergic medications.
If not then it’s a normal finding. Usually runny noses will occur after crying.
