My wife got a lasik surgery done on 9th April. Presently, she's only using 3 eye drops (includes a steroids eye drop) as recommended by the doctor. We are also planning for a baby and the gynecologist mentioned that if she gets period this time, then she should take a Rubella vaccine (R vac).
1. Is it safe to take Rubella vaccine especially when she's using eye drops daily
2. Doctor has prescribed R vac. However in the nearest hospital only MMR vaccine is available. Can she take any of these?

Rubella vaccine is recommended if her rubella igg is negative
Which means she missed MMR vaccine in childhood
The eye drops will not interfere
She needs rvac not mmr
